Members of Parliament paused yesterday (Wednesday, April 2) to commemorate one of the worst mining disasters in British history. Lesley Griffiths explained to Parliament that the city of Wrexham experienced one of the darkest days in its history on September 22, 1934, when 261 men and boys died in the Gresford colliery.
