League Tweaks a Rule on the Run, as Laura Kane’s Role Changes Again

Carlton has lost eight of 18 games after leading at halftime since last season, with mental lapses blamed for their repeated second-half collapses, coach Michael Voss said.

Clubs have been put on notice over the last-touch rule; Kane, who was the AFL’s first female head of football, will now take over executive control of AFLW. This follows last year’s major restructure in which her role was split.
