The next hearing for the defendants in the Justice Fund scandal was not without strong emotions. Several hours into the hearing, defense attorneys for the defendants, including Father Michał Olszewski, clashed verbally with the presiding judge. When the court prohibited the filing of further formal motions, the defense attorneys suddenly jumped from the bench in protest. At one point, the court also interrupted the speech of one of the lawyers.
Another hearing for the defendants in the Justice Fund case took place on Wednesday. Six people were in the dock, including former ministry officials and Father Michał Olszewski.
The second trial is underway in Warsaw for, among others, Father Michał Olszewski and two former officials accused by Donald Tusk's politicized prosecutor's office of alleged abuses in the distribution of funds from the Justice Fund.
