The Palacký University canteen cooks up to five thousand lunches a day. Almost half of the menu is meat-free, because there is interest in it. "People no longer want meat every day, large portions. There is interest in lighter dishes, diners think about what they eat," says the new director of the Dormitory and Canteen Administration, Jan Liška, who takes care of the well-being of students and academics in Olomouc.
