Wayne BOE votes to close both Dunlow and Genoa elementary schools
WAYNE — The Wayne County Board of Education voted 4-1 Wednesday evening in favor of closing both Dunlow and Genoa elementary schools. "(We) also would just like to let you all know that, as we move forward ... we are going to make sure that this transition happens with care and responsibility and compassion," said Board President Missy Hall following the vote. Board Member Mark Ross cast the single vote against the school closures.
