Waymo Robotaxis Safer than Human Drivers: IIHS Report

The IIHS said Waymo’s driverless vehicles had 68% fewer crashes and 81% fewer injury crashes than human drivers.

Waymo vehicles operating in self-driving mode were involved in 68% fewer crashes than human drivers in comparable conditions, according to a new Insurance Institute for Highway Safety report.
