Trailer Arrives For New Documentary, ‘It’s Never Over, Jeff Buckley’
UNITED STATES, JUL 16 – Amy Berg's documentary offers the first authorized in-depth look at Jeff Buckley's life, featuring exclusive interviews and unseen footage highlighting his enduring musical influence.
- The documentary It's Never Over, Jeff Buckley, directed by Amy Berg, debuted at the Sundance Film Festival in 2025 and is set for a US theatrical release on August 8.
- Amy Berg had pursued making the Buckley documentary for nearly 20 years, inspired by his 1994 album Grace and accessing extensive archival material despite Buckley's mother initially opting out.
- The film features previously unseen archival material and includes conversations with Buckley’s mother Mary Guibert, his past companions Rebecca Moore and Joan Wasser, former band members, and fellow musicians such as Aimee Mann and Ben Harper.
