Watch for these Inland Empire residents in the 2026 Rose Parade
Inland Empire students and donors contribute to the Rose Parade with musicians, drill teams, float builders, and honorees including organ donors and living donors.
- On Saturday, Dec. 27, 2025, Maximo Franco, a 12th grade trumpeter, will join 225 Southern California musicians on the OneLegacy Donate Life float, which features faces of three Inland Empire organ donors in flowers.
- Guided by Kevin Brown, students from Cal Poly Pomona and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo joined a broad applicant pool from over 70 Southern California schools to design and build floats.
- Built with detailed natural materials, the Cal Poly universities' float, `Jungle Jumpstart`, uses 21,000 flowers and features a robot prop that lifts a macaw.
- Positioned early in the route, Cal Poly universities' float appears 10th, while the Norco Cowgirls Drill Team rides 59th and the OneLegacy Donate Life float is 70th.
- Continuing a repeat presence, Cal Poly universities' float is their 77th entry, OneLegacy Donate Life will appear for the 23rd time, and Pasadena City College bands have long parade roots.
