Washington honors 9/11 victims in annual remembrance ceremony

WASHINGTON, Ill. (WMBD) -- This weekend, the city of Washington will be remembering those lost 24 years ago during its annual ceremony to remember the Sept. 11, 2011, terrorist attacks. The ceremony will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 7, at the Veterans Memorial Park's Helicopter Memorial.
