WA’s most famous infrastructure project is getting a glow-up

The upgrade will add 7.2 million litres a day to the Goldfields from 2027 and replace 44.5 kilometres of aging pipeline.

About 44.5km of the 566km-long pipeline built by famed West Australian engineer CY O’Connor will be replaced, boosting the amount of water able to be pumped through it by 10 per cent.
