The 48th Warsaw Marathon will take place on Sunday (September 27). The capital event will bring together runners from across the country. The Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship will be represented by, among others, Radek, a resident of Olsztyn, who will run for a good cause.
Drivers, public transport passengers, and residents of the seven districts should check the route before leaving home. Nearly 14,000 people have registered for the 48th Warsaw Marathon. A companion 10k race will also take place on Sunday. Over 20,000 runners can participate in both distances. For the first time in its history, the event has received World Athletics Elite certification.
The 2026 Warsaw Marathon will traditionally start on the last Sunday of September. At 9:00 a.m. on September 27, participants of the 48th Warsaw Marathon will run a route through the heart of Warsaw.
