MINNEWAUKAN, N.D. (KVRR/KFGO) – The Benson County commission is appointing a commissioner as acting sheriff after the county’s chief deputy was charged with multiple felonies and its current sheriff is resigning. BENSON COUNTY, N.D. — A warrant has been issued for the arrest of the chief deputy for the Benson County Sheriff’s Office, who is now facing more than a dozen criminal charges.
