The Ward One Recreation Centre in New Glasgow will be getting a new Accessible Ramp and Stairs over the summer. Council approved the contract of I. Matheson Company Limited to design, fabricate and build the Ramp & Stairs at a cost of $142,970 + HST. Town engineer Earl MacKenzie told council the work should be completed no later than 14 weeks from now.
