LOWELL, Mass. – With the best throw of her career by .01m Emma Wapshare won the women's javelin throw at the America East Championships. Her throw of 47.83m won by more than three meters. The Vermont women are in a tie for third with UAlbany at 20 points and the men sit in ninth place with eight points on day one.
