"Walking through the Country": The History of the Fortified Church in Hărman, Brașov County

In the town of Hărman, in Brașov County, Romania, there is a special church. In addition to its main purpose as a place of worship, it also had a military role. With imposing walls over 12 meters high, seven defensive cannons and a bell tower, the fortress can be seen from a distance. It is a true architectural gem, among the many fortified churches of the Saxons in Transylvania.
