‘The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon’ Renewed for Fourth & Final Season, Plus Trailer Revealed
SPAIN, JUL 25 – The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon returns for an eight-episode final season due to strong viewership, with the first season being AMC+s most-watched premiere ever, AMC said.
- At San Diego Comic-Con on Friday, AMC Networks revealed that The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon has been renewed for a fourth and final season.
- After setting AMC+ viewership records, Norman Reedus returns alongside Melissa McBride as the series is renewed for its final season.
- In Spain, filming for Season 4 begins later this month, with locations including Madrid, Bilbao, Galicia, Andalusia, the Segovia region, and Toledo.
- Following their odyssey, Daryl and Carol continue their journey toward home, and new series regulars Eduardo Noriega, Óscar Jaenada and Alexandra Masangkay join the cast.
- Ahead of filming, Season 3 debuts on Sept. 7, and production on Season 4 begins next week in Spain with eight episodes.
