I will do everything to restore the rule of law and the principles of the separation of powers, as well as to respect the constitution and all international treaties that bind Poland, declared the new Minister of Justice, Waldemar Żurek.
During his first meeting with the media, the new Minister of Justice, Waldemar Żurek, warned against intimidating judges. "I will respond to such situations with full force," he announced.
I will do everything to restore the rule of law," declared the new Minister of Justice, Waldemar Żurek. He emphasized that it would be intense work. "We have a difficult road ahead of us. Many institutions in Poland have been destroyed," the minister added. Radosław Fogiel of PiS assessed Żurek's words. "It's a sobering assessment if, after two years of Tusk's rule, he says that the rule of law must be restored."
Waldemar Żurek took the floor. He addressed politicians who, in his opinion, "threaten independent judges and independent prosecutors and try to intimidate them."
The PiS MP stated that Donald Tusk drew the wrong conclusions from Rafał Trzaskowski's defeat in the presidential elections and instead of coming to his senses, he will want to take increasingly radical actions in the justice system.
