Waiters’ Race raises 1000s for local good causes

Hundreds flocked to La Cala de Mijas on Saturday, March 28, for the La Cala Lions Club’s second Waiters’ Race, blending skill, laughter and impressive fundraising for good causes across the area. Participants from nearby bars and restaurants walked fast on a demanding route around Torreón Square and the promenade. Each balanced a tray holding coffee, water and bread rolls. Source
