- The project marks WRTL's strategic entry into the Australia and New Zealand market, a move Executive Director Sunil Rathi called "an important milestone" in the company's international expansion.
- WRTL will execute the project in a consortium with two experienced local companies, leading solar supply and engineering efforts before a potential full Engineering, Procurement and Construction contract.
- Upon completion, the installation is expected to become one of New Zealand's largest solar energy projects, supporting the country's transition to a cleaner energy mix while enhancing grid reliability.
