WA locks in WWE for three more years, but Optus Stadium is not on the cards

Premier Roger Cook said 2024’s Elimination Chamber brought more than 18,000 visitors to WA, compared to 12,500 for last year’s Crown Jewel at RAC Arena. But a return to Optus Stadium is not being considered.

Perth to host WWE events for the next three years

The Cook Government has secured multiple WWE events in Western Australia through a three-year deal starting this December. Perth will host three WWE Weekend Takeovers at RAC Arena from 2026 to 2028, with each featuring a Friday Night SmackDown, a WWE Premium Live Event, and Monday Night RAW.
