The Volkswagen Group is separated from personnel manager Kilian.
Surprisingly, the VW Supervisory Board has decided on the immediate separation of Kilian, the head of staff, and the employee side sees a clear reason for this.
Gunnar Kilian is the oldest member of the board of the largest car company in Europe. Now he goes abruptly – apparently in dispute. There is no successor yet.
In 2018, he was one of the youngest managers of a Dax group. Soon, a contract extension for Gunnar Kilian was to be negotiated.
Volkswagen's head of the Group's staff has to go. He obviously lacked the support for a contract extension. But that doesn't seem to be the only reason for his departure.


The manager had been with Volkswagen for more than 20 years and now apparently stumbled upon the collective bargaining agreement. What role did the works council play in this?
