Vulcraft, a division of Nucor Corporation, is planning a $59 million expansion for its existing manufacturing operations in St. Joe, Indiana.

Vulcraft to expand St. Joe operations

ST. JOE — Vulcraft, a division of Nucor Corp., will expand its steel manufacturing operations east of St. Joe in DeKalb County, creating up to 20 new, high-wage jobs by the end of 2027.

Nucor adds steel grating capacity in Indiana

Nucor will invest $59m at its Vulcraft Indiana manufacturing facility in St. Joe, adding steel grating production and creating 20 full-time jobs at a site that already employs more than 300 people. The expansion adds another fabricated steel product to a plant already focused on structural components for non-residential construction.
