Hungary and Serbia signed a military agreement following the joint declaration of cooperation on defense by Albania, Croatia, and Kosovo on March 18 in Tirana. Military cooperation between the two countries has never been stronger, as evidenced by the agreement signed by the two sides on cooperation for 2025, Defence Minister Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky said in Belgrade on Tuesday. The minister said that the Hungarian and Serbian forces will implement a total of 79 joint programs in 2025.

Hungary and Serbia come closer together at the military level. Both countries sign an agreement to this effect. Serbia's President is already looking into the future and calls a military union with the northern neighbour as a goal.

The agreement on military cooperation between the two countries comes two weeks after Croatia, Albania and Kosovo signed a joint statement on strengthening defense cooperation.

This agreement elevated the relationship between Serbia and Hungary to a higher level in relation to military cooperation, Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky, Hungarian Minister of Defense said.
