Voting cancelled, waivers sought by Timpson board
Canceling a portion of the upcoming school board election and seeking waivers for missed school days because of bad weather topped the agenda at the March meeting of the Timpson ISD board. Since the filing deadline had passed, the Timpson ISD board of trustees voted to cancel the election for the unexpired term listed on the ballot for the May 2 election, as only one person had filed for the seat.
