To the editor:Voters should not be misled by the Lansing school district’s attempt to spin this bond as a “no mill increase” or just “a few dollars a month.” While the monthly payment may appear unchanged on paper, this bond extends the number of years taxpayers will be paying on existing debt and that matters.It’s like a car dealer saying, “Don’t worry, your payment stays the same,” while quietly extending your loan by several more years.
