Many questions have been raised about the Election Commission in past elections, so this time, due to a major exercise, it is hoped that an accurate list of genuine voters will be prepared. We suggest that while the case is pending in court, the Election Commission should, at least in Uttar Pradesh, revise the voter list by linking it with Aadhaar. This will bring transparency and accuracy to the voter list and strengthen the voting process.
