The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) will today distribute about 110,000 automated counting machines (ACMs) along with official ballots to be used in the midterm elections on May 12. The Comelec said the ACMs and official ballots should have reached their respective locations by May 5 for final testing and sealing on May 6. 47,000 ACMs have undergone pre-election logic and accuracy tests or pre-LAT and are expected to be completed by April 20.
