Since 12 August, part of Gérardmer's drinking water system has been fed by water pumped into the lake due to drought. And for the past few days, some consumers have been worried about the colour of water, its taste and potability. On Tuesday, the Régie des eaux decided to communicate to provide "some useful clarifications" and reassure users: water is "drinking", "treated", "controlled".
