This year's big Puttefest will take place on Friday. In recent years, between 4,000 and 7,000 young people have gathered in Ulvedalene in Dyrehaven near Klampenborg north of Copenhagen to celebrate the start of high school. The Puttefest is a traditional, but unofficial celebration of the new high school students.
