Volunteers pull together to remove blackberries in Langley

Thirty-five volunteers removed 7.5 cubic metres of invasive Himalayan blackberry and 20 pounds of trash to protect native plants.

Volunteers removed 47 bathtubs worth of invasive plants from the Derek Doubleday Arboretum on Sunday, June 28. Green Teams of Canada (GTC)’s Lower Mainland Green Team, in partnership with the Township of Langley, returned to the arboretum, to clean up the greespace.
