Hancock, N.Y. — An Upstate fire chief was electrocuted Thursday night after responding to a crash where downed wires touched his fire truck.Jason McGlone, 51, the assistant chief of the East Branch Fire Department, had been a volunteer for more than 25 years for the department in Delaware County.
A stork flew into a high voltage and was severely burned. The accident left more than a hundred households without electricity.
