WOLFSBURG (ANP/BELGA/RTR/BLOOMBERG) - Union representatives at Volkswagen fear that job losses at the German car group could turn out to be much greater than previously thought. The loss could possibly amount to as many as 140,000 jobs. Volkswagen currently has plans to cut 100,000 jobs to drastically reduce costs.
