Volkswagen reveals the ID.3 Neo, key updates for the ID.4 and other EVs

  • Volkswagen is updating its electric lineup, debuting the Neo as the successor to the original electric hatch with a fresh look and major technical upgrades.
  • The Volkswagen electric hatch first arrived in 2019 as the brand's inaugural purpose-built EV, signaling the start of a modern era. Wow, that was more than 6 years ago.
  • New entry-level Volkswagen EVs now feature the APP 350 drive system, delivering 187 hp . Combined with a 58 kWh LFP battery, the system increases range by up to 40 km.
  • Enhanced Travel Assist, One-Pedal Driving, and Vehicle-to-Load functionality enable power output of up to 3.6 kW for external devices. The New Innovision Infotainment system with app store improves customer experience.
  • Volkswagen Board Member Kai confirmed the small and compact vehicle segments, including the Cross, will soon launch with these innovations. The Polo is expected this spring, expanding entry-level EV offerings.
