[Nago/Nakijin] On May 31st, which corresponds to May 5th on the lunar calendar, a Shinto ritual called "Gungwachi Gunichi Tiraugan" was held in the Gabe district of Nago City (District Mayor Nakazato Yasuaki) to express gratitude to ancestors who are said to have brought salt making to the district and to pray for the safety of the village.
