New Record Set for Highest Win in a Single Game on 'The Price Is Right'
Vanesa M. won $240,150 in cash and prizes after taking all five balls in the first custom-branded game in the show’s history.
On Friday, retired military veteran Vanesa McCaskell won $240,150 in cash and prizes on "The Price Is Right" Mother's Day episode, setting the largest single pricing game record in the show's 54-year history.
McCaskell secured the historic haul while playing "The Lion's Share," a custom-branded game introduced this season through a partnership between production company Fremantle and BetMGM.
Starting with $2,500, McCaskell accumulated $227,500 in cash plus a mother-daughter trip to Morocco valued at $12,650 by guessing grocery prices to earn balls revealing prizes or a "lose it all" outcome.
"Winning over $200,000 is life-changing," McCaskell stated, adding she plans to invest wisely and treat her mother to a special surprise.
Her $240,150 total surpasses the 2016 single-game record of $210,000, though contestant Michael Stouber holds the show's all-time winnings record with $262,743 from a 2019 episode.
