Eight firefighters, three municipal police officers and one resident were slightly injured after inhaling smoke or by the blast of gas bottles.

A violent fire was declared in a building in the Hoche district, in the centre of Grenoble, on Saturday 5 July, shortly after noon. The fire went to an apartment on the ground floor. An important device was deployed to put an end to the flames. Eight firefighters were injured in an explosion.
