On January 16, Edna posted on social media her injuries after being attacked by a taxi driver in Colima, the most violent state for women in Mexico. Authorities did nothing to stop the aggressor. On April 16, 27-year-old Guadalupe Barragan disappeared in Manzanillo, since then her mother desperately seeks her. On May 16, Candy, another mother seeker, reported having been assaulted by the state prosecutor, Bryan Alejandro García Ramírez.
A truth that bothers, but that the figures show it. Everything seems to indicate that in Colima violence against women is normalized , same that every week it takes the life of a mother, young, friend or sister.
