Vinnie Jones blasts 'addictive' tech for fuelling mental health struggles
The former Wimbledon midfielder says children need more time outdoors, while Ventus’s launch draw will donate 20% of profits to mental health charities.
Former Wimbledon midfielder Vinnie, a Cup winner, partnered with Ventus to promote mental health awareness while warning that excessive screen use harms children's well-being.
Growing up in Watford, Vinnie enjoyed an active country lifestyle playing football and spending time outdoors; he now fears children hooked on digital games miss the great outdoors.
Vinnie insists "the outdoors means freedom," and personally goes "nuts" if stuck indoors for 20 minutes, preferring physical activity to screens with his grandchildren.
Chris Wall, founder at Ventus, confirmed the partnership offers a trip to Croatia with £10,000 spending money, with 20 per cent of profits from each Entry donated through Work for Good.
Supporting younger generations remains Vinnie's priority, as he emphasizes that People should feel comfortable discussing mental health because Life is difficult enough without avoiding these conversations.
