NEW YORK -- Villanova received a pair of the 2025-26 BIG EAST Team Academic Excellence awards on Tuesday morning with women's lacrosse earning the honor for their sport while women's basketball tied for the top squad in that category.

Pair of DePaul Programs Earn BIG EAST Team Academic Excellence Awards

NEW YORK – The BIG EAST Conference has announced the recipients of its 2025-26 Team Academic Excellence Awards, recognizing the conference's top-performing teams in the classroom across each of its 22 sponsored sports, including DePaul women's basketball and men's soccer. A total of 10 schools received at least one award with DePaul among a group of five institutions with multiple.

Women's Swimming And Diving Team Claims BIG EAST Team Academic Excellence Award

NEW YORK, N.Y. - The BIG EAST Conference announced the recipients of its 2025-26 Team Academic Excellence Awards today [July 28], recognizing the conference's top-performing teams in the classroom across each of its 22 sponsored sports. The Providence College women's swimming and diving team was among the list of honorees. The Friars earned a cumulative team GPA of 3.736 to lead all BIG EAST women's swim and dive programs.
