Viking's boys basketball junior hits 1,000 points

After four years playing basketball, Wareham High School junior Amare Rose has achieved a goal he says he's had since the moment he stepped onto the court as a Viking.  Rose reached 1,000 career points Wednesday, Feb. 11 in a game against the St. Mary's Spartans. The team captain has been with the team since eighth grade, reaching a milestone only a few high school players reach. For his successes, he thanks his teammates.
