- Visuals showed a damaged car in Sinha's cavalcade and Vibhishan Kevat was hospitalized after being beaten, while local police intensified patrolling and the DGP was directed to act.
- The Election Commission of India directed officials to take immediate action after the reported attack, and Lakhisarai SP Ajay Kumar said `I have received reports of some protests over broken roads, but I will be able to confirm what actually happened only after visiting the site`.
- Amid the attack claims, the Rashtriya Janata Dal refuted the allegations, with spokesperson Shakti Yadav calling Vijay Kumar Sinha a liar and highlighting his Z+ security and his party's control of the state administration.
