The Portuguese cinemas received almost 1.8 million spectators in August, a rise of 83.5% compared to the same month last year, attracted by the new man spider, revealed today the Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual (ICA).
Portuguese cinemas attracted 1.8 million viewers in August, generating €13.2 million in revenue. The success of "Spider-Man: One More Day," directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, and "The Odyssey," directed by Christopher Nolan, propelled the year's total to 8.5 million visitors and a total revenue of €59.4 million.
