The people of Velika Gorica will embark on a pilgrimage to Our Lady of Bistrica for the 35th time on Saturday, September 5, 2026. The pilgrims gathered in front of the parish church of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Velika Gorica at 4:00 a.m., from where, after a blessing by parish priest Norbert Ivan Koprivec, they set off on a 42-kilometer journey to Marija Bistrica at 4:30 a.m.
