Due to strong winds on Corsica this Monday, February 16, a plane that was to land in Bastia had to go back to the last moment. The conditions for a safe landing were not met.
On Monday, 16 February, many flights to and from Corsica were delayed or cancelled due to adverse weather conditions. One flight from Nice to Bastia had to be diverted to Ajaccio.
Since 4 p.m. on Monday, all flights from and to Bastia-Poretta airport have been cancelled due to poor weather conditions. Earlier in the afternoon, an Air Corsica aircraft from Nice had to be diverted to Ajaccio.
