The Shorthorns downed the previously undefeated Comanches 58-49 on Tuesday and beat the Bulldogs 57-45 on Friday. With Shiner’s loss to Bloomington on Feb. 13, Schulenburg took over sole possession of first place in district. The Horns finished off their district championship with an 81-31 victory in Louise on Feb. 16.
