Victoria walk aims to shed light on rare genetic diseases

Victoria residents will have a chance to gather Sept. 19 for Hazel’s Light Up for Mito Walk, an event raising awareness for a rare disease as part of World Mitochondrial Disease Awareness Week. The walk will take place from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., beginning at the front steps of Christ Church Cathedral at Courtney and Quadra streets.
