In Trier, an Afghan man stabbed 22-year-old student Marius Dick to death. Now the victim's parents are demanding that politicians finally take action against these acts of violence!
The 22-year-old had been stabbed by an Afghan on the street – the police speak of a "accident victim." Parents now demand justice for their son – and appeal to the government to protect citizens from such attacks.
In Trier, 22-year-old Afghan Sajad M. attacked fellow student Marius Dick, also 22, with a knife. Dick died shortly afterward in the hospital. Now his parents are demanding in Bild: "Something has to change in Germany. We no longer feel safe."

It is still unclear why the 22-year-old man was fatally injured by another student.
The student who was stabbed in Trier on Wednesday comes from Landstuhl. A book of condolence will be published in the town hall next week.
