Vice-President stresses the need to promote multilingualism and cultural diversity

At the celebration held on Friday, 21 February 2025, at the Hennessy Court in Port-Louis, by the High Commission of the People's Republic of Bangladesh in Mauritius to commemorate the International Mother Tongue Day 2025, the Vice-President of the Republic of Mauritius, Jean Yvan Robert Hungley, stressed the need to promote multilingualism and cultural diversity in the light of the challenges of globalization in terms of linguistic preservation.
