GERMANY, JUL 09 – SEFE Energy GmbH will buy an additional 0.75 million tonnes per annum of LNG from Venture Global's CP2 project under a 20-year agreement to support Germany's growing energy needs.
- Venture Global and Securing Energy for Europe announced on July 9, 2025, that SEFE Energy GmbH will buy an additional 0.75 MTPA of LNG from Venture Global's Calcasieu Pass 2 project for 20 years.
- This agreement amends the 2023 Sales and Purchase Agreement and increases SEFE’s total LNG purchase from CP2 LNG to 3.0 MTPA amid growing European energy demand.
- Venture Global has delivered nearly 80 LNG shipments to Germany, sourced through its facilities at Calcasieu Pass and Plaquemines, contributing to the country’s energy security and cost-effective supply.
