(Photo Courtesy: Greensburg Fire Department) (Greensburg, IN) – A vehicle fire forced the temporary closing of Interstate 74 in Greensburg Monday evening. The Greensburg Fire Department was called around 7:42 p.m. to eastbound I-74 after a pickup truck caught fire at the 132-mile-marker. Crews extinguished the flames and worked to allow the eastbound lanes of the interstate to reopen to traffic as quickly as possible. There were no injuries reported. The Greensburg Police Department, Decatur County Sheriff’s Office and Decatur County EMS provided assistance.
